Internationally Recognized Standards
Our project management professional development programs are designed around international project management, programme management, portfolio management, risk management, planning and scheduling, earned value and business analysis knowledge areas. These programmes are designed to prepare those trained to achieve internationally recognised professional project management certifications. These include Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications such as PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PMI-SP and RMP; Association for the Advancement Of Cost Engineering International (AACE) CCC, PSP and EVP certifications; Construction Specification Institute (CSI) CCS, CDT, CCCA and CCPR certifications; AllPMO’s PMOC certification and International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) CBAP certification, among many others.
Most of CMCS’ professional development programmes are accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI), which will provide professional development units (PDU) for those
who attend our training sessions. These units are needed for those who want to apply for the PMI certifications or those who want to maintain their existing certifications.

Project and Risk Management Software Training
CMCS also offers certified training on world leading projects and risk management software applications. As a member of Oracle University and with a track record of more than 25 years in delivering Oracle Primavera training, CMCS is by far the largest and most experienced Primavera trainer in the world.
CMCS offers training for all of Oracle Primavera products including Enterprise Portfolio Project Management (EPPM), Portfolio Project Management (PPM), Primavera Contract Management (PCM), Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA), Primavera Earned Value (PEV), Primavera Project Planner (P3) and SureTrak. Our Oracle Primavera training is accredited by Oracle University and is delivered by certified Oracle Primavera trainers using an interactive workshop to ensure that the training has achieved its desired objectives.

In addition, we are certified by Hard Dollar, Strategic Thoughts Group, Deltek, Synchro and other software vendors to offer accredited training on their products. In all of these programmes, CMCS uses original training materials that were developed by the software vendors. Training is given by instructors who are consultants for the relevant software applications and have been formally accredited to give the training. Our software training is usually based around hands-on workshops to provide our trainees with the required knowledge and skills to use the software tools with complete confidence.

Custom-tailored Professional Development Programs

CMCS can develop custom-tailored professional development programmes that will suit corporates who are keen to build professional project management environments. CMCS will assess the training needs of the organisation as well as the candidates who will take part in the programme. This will enable CMCS to design an integrated professional development programme that will cover theoretical aspects of project management, software applications usage and actual implementation of learned practices. The workshops of such a programme would be usually based on sample projects that the organisation currently performs. Through CMCS’ strategic partnerships with a number of universities in the Middle East region, CMCS can organise for this custom-tailored programme to be accredited, thereby allowing the trainees to receive diploma certificates from these universities certifiying their attendance for such a programme.

Project Management Control Systems (PMCS) Program for the Engineering and Construction Industry
Today, no organization can afford to execute programs and projects without proper project controls. Project controls are not limited to project scope, schedule and cost but it should cover all other vital project elements such as records, contracts, changes, risks, interfaces among many others. CMCS is offering one-day courses for which each course will explain how produce at least one of the key deliverables required for developing and implementing effective project management control systems (PMCS). Although those courses are not computer based training, nevertheless they incorporate be examples from leading software applications such as Oracle Primavera Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), Oracle Primavera Contract Management (PCM), Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, TILOS, CoreWorx and others to demonstrate how to get the PMCS deliverables.
The project management control systems (PMCS) courses are aligned with the Project Management Institute (PMI) project management body of knowledge (PMBOK) and the Associate of Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE). The courses will help attendees to support their preparation for attaining professional certifications such as PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) and Risk Management Professional (RMP) as well as AACE’s Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) and Earned Value Professional (EVP).
